Closing agencies will contact the District for final bills or to verify property ownership.
Owners can request a change of mailing address using the Mailing Address Authorization Form (PDF).
If you need to submit a reading for a final bill, use the final bill form.
- Verify your payments are going to the correct agency.
- Check for leaks. You can often confirm a leak by watching your meter while all water in the home is turned off. Common sources:
- Toilets
- Sprinklers
- Hoses
- Faucets
- Look around your property for soggy soil, standing water, or unusually green patches of lawn.
- Verify your meter reading is reasonable. Manual readings are sometimes transposed or hard to read.
